Feature

Email Notifications for New Submissions

February 1, 2026

You can now receive an email notification every time one of your forms captures a new submission. No polling, no dashboards open in the background.

How it works

Notifications are sent via Resend immediately after a submission is accepted and stored. The email includes the form name, submission timestamp, and a direct link to the submission detail view in your dashboard.

What gets skipped

Formtorch automatically suppresses notifications for:

  • Spam submissions: anything flagged by TorchWarden is silently stored but never forwarded
  • Test submissions: form previews sent with _test=true are excluded
  • Forms with notifications disabled: per-form toggle in Form Settings

This keeps your inbox meaningful rather than noisy.

Configuration

Set your notification address in Settings → Notifications. By default, notifications go to the email on your account. You can override this with any address, which is useful for routing to a team inbox or a CRM.

Toggle delivery on or off per form from Form Settings → Notifications.
